Friday Finds

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.

We celebrated Independence Day and my husband's birthday yesterday. We were lucky it cooled off a bit so we could have our traditional barbecue outside on the deck and watch the neighborhood fireworks.

With temperatures near 110 degrees most of this week, I couldn't get in the mood for lugging my tripod around photographing my new yard.

I did snap a quick sneak peak this morning, just in case you're beginning to think my new grass is make-believe.

But enough of my yard. We're here for Friday Finds!

Sea shells and sand spell summer for me, and Angela at Hickory Trail added some of both to her pretty summer shelf. Don't you love the simplicity of the sand in her pretty bottles?

Sharon at Elizabeth & Co. arranged a pretty collection of shells atop some sand in a large clear jar for her tabletop vignette. Instant summer!

At Town and Country Living Jennifer shares some simple decorating ideas on a budget. Simply gorgeous, right?

Debra at Common Ground showed us her stunning summer florals and decor.

This charming little writing desk and chair belong to Anne at Design Dreams by Anne.

For a perfect summer craft project check out Marcy's State Love Plaque at Day 2 Day Super Mom.

Andrea at The Cottage Market has shared a free download of her sweet printable burlap number tags.

Bob of Bob Bowling Rustics makes magical sheds from reclaimed and recycled materials. Visit his website's online album to see his charming sheds, bird houses, chicken coops, and more.

Jody and Stan created this darling fairy farm in a terrarium at Rooted in Thyme.

How cute is this little fairy door at the base of a tree made by Sherry at The Charm of Home?

This great idea for portable wire basket cookbook storage was shared on Ms. Moozy's Open House.

Kelly at Talk of the House hosted a hamburger bar earlier this week, and I loved her idea for serving condiments and sauces in canning jars with twine-tied tags.

These beautiful Caramelized Onion, Mushroom & Gruyere Tartlets were created by Michelle, The Brown Eyed Baker.

Susan's blog is called Sticky, Gooey, Creamy, Chewy, and that's exactly how she describes these easy no-bake peanut butter Corn Flake balls. Yum!

If you celebrated your little hearts out on Canada Day, the 4th of July, or other fun holidays around the world earlier this week, you're probably ready for some rest and relaxation this weekend.

I hope you find some time to put your feet up, take it easy, and enjoy a few quiet moments of summer.

HAPPY FRIDAY!
