Fall Lavender

Early last summer I added five small lavender plants to my new backyard.

As you can see, it grew a bit wild!

Last week I harvested.

Growing and harvesting my own lavender was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had, and I highly recommend it!

  3. I just uprooted all my lavender plants and installed them in my daughter's garden.

I never knew how to dry lavender so I must learn.

  4. Beautiful! I'm jealous that your lavender is actually purple. Mine is more gray-green. What is your variety called?

  7. Now I'm going to have to buy some lavender plants! I use dried for decorating and essential oils in all kinds of things. I may just do a lavender post for all my uses. :) It's one of my favorite scents! You have a great weekend. ~ Jamie P.S. Still can't come up with a new name foe the blog... :(
