New Garden Tour

It's a glorious spring morning here at The North End Loft. The birds are singing, the sun is shining, and the air is crisp and sparkling after a big thunder storm last night. It's the perfect day to introduce my new garden tour!

I've been wanting to put together a photo tour of our little garden for ages, and I finished one over the weekend. The tour is made up of a few new photos along with some from the past two years, all taken since we cut down the big backyard shade tree in 2013.

I've added a garden tour tab just below my blog title, and you can also see the tour by clicking right

Have a wonderful day, and I hope to see you in the garden!

  1. Wonderful garden tour! I'm in awe that you actually remembered to take 'serial' pix of spring, summer and fall ~ I always forget!
Love your little shed ~ it reminds me a bit of Carol's from Art & Sand. The banner sweetens it ~

Off to enjoy the fresh air ~ the storms didn't do too much damage over here ~

  5. Wow. Your yard and gardens are stunning. I love everything about it: the potting bench, the little shed, the raised beds, the weathered fence with the suns hanging on it, the whiskey barrel... It looks like a spread from a Better Homes & Gardens magazine.

  7. Thank you for the tour of your beautiful gardens. I missed the annual local garden tour, but now that I've seen yours, I feel like I had my dose of "Through The Garden Gate" - just lovely! You are blessed to have such a handy, willing husband.

  8. Hi Laurel, loved your garden tour. You and your hubby accomplished so much and it looks amazing. I know what a big job it is to remove a tree and then have to start over with your plantings. We had the same here and it took several years to get things back to normal and replanted. Love seeing Tucker peeking through the gate. Your collection of sun plaques is a great idea grouped together. The shed is so charming. Just everything is lovely and well thought out.
Thanks for sharing your garden tour.
    Hugs, CM

  9. What a wonderful garden tour Laurel! I love watching the transformation happen right before my eyes. And I just love the way to embrace and enjoy your outdoor space. I have a break today between sale days, so I'm headed outside to play in the dirt. I'll be thinking of you!

  11. Thanks for the tout and I love the picture of Tucker peeking. Dogs are so adorable aren't the. This had to be a big job. It's good to have your own handyman isn't it? I say that to John when makes or fixes things

  13. First of all, the first picture, of your house, is fantastic - I love how you have painted it.

I love seeing your garden through the seasons. Ours doesn't change much.

I absolutely love the photo of the daisies beneath the Fresh Flowers sign.

  16. Laurel, your garden is cozy and full of so many wonderful things! That's the kind of gardens I love. Give me a garden like this any day over a fancy smancy professionally landscaped one! I love being in the garden and could easily spend hours in yours. Beautiful flowers, photos, and critters! Including the flamingos. lol! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  20. Beautiful garden tour. We've been working on our garden since we moved in 2 years ago. It was a total mess with white rocks and bricks all over the place. Slowly but surely it's turning around. Thanks for all the inspiration.
