Fall Lavender




    Early last summer I added five small lavender plants to my new backyard.


 As you can see, it grew a bit wild!

  


Last week I harvested.




Growing and harvesting my own lavender was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had, and I highly recommend it!

    Oh wow... I'm so envious! It seems I can't get lavender to make it through our winters here. :( Enjoy yours, it's so pretty! :)

    I just uprooted all my lavender plants and installed them in my daughter's garden.

    I never knew how to dry lavender so I must learn.

    Beautiful! I'm jealous that your lavender is actually purple. Mine is more gray-green. What is your variety called?

    Now I'm going to have to buy some lavender plants! I use dried for decorating and essential oils in all kinds of things.
