It's very cloudy here today and hard to get a good photograph on my phone, but I thought you might like to see the before and after of my new living room and dining room paint colors.
Manchester Tan is a Benjamin Moore historic color, a warm neutral that shifts between gray and beige depending on the light, which I love. And even on this dark cloudy day the new color really brightens these rooms up. I originally picked white for the walls, but at the last minute I decided to go a little warmer and make the fresh White Dove painted woodwork pop.
Next up for me today is getting everything put back into these rooms in time for a family birthday dinner tonight.
Thanks for checking out my new paint. I hope you have a great day!
Nice colour Laurel. Hoping all gets back in it's place so you can have a stress free celebration tonight.

Looks great Laurel!
ReplyDeleteLove the new color, Laurel! I would like a darker beige than what is currently on our walls. This looks like a good one to check out.
ReplyDeleteLaurel - Love that new color. The room looks so much lighter, brighter and bigger. Good choice!

I was so looking forward to seeing the new color and it looks fabulous! Using a color from the historic collection was a smart decision. It really works with the character and charm of your cottage! Now can you come help me pick some colors? Enjoy the family celebration tonight and best wishes to the birthday honoree!
ReplyDeleteI love it, Laurel. Just enough color, adds warmth, and looks great with all of the white. Beautiful!
