Thanks for stopping by today for Friday Finds. I have so much to share with you!
Anita from Cedar Hill Ranch has a great series called On the Back Porch, where she interviews other bloggers. This week, Jennifer Rizzo was her guest. Jen's beautiful blog was one of the first I ever followed, and it was fun to read about her interesting and surprising background. Click on over to Cedar Hill Ranch and see if you're surprised, too! (If you have a few extra minutes, Jennifer's home was flooded yesterday and I know she'd appreciate a supportive visit to her blog, too.)
Carol's blog, Art and Sand is one of my new favorites. She's all about color and is so creative. Carol kept getting side tracked with projects that would pop into her head as she sorted through her things and put together her new garage work space. She shared it with us this week, and it's just charming.
Anne of Design Dreams by Anne is also charming me with color lately. Anne decorated the side of her washer and dryer with this gorgeous seed catalog art.
Mary from At Home on the Bay shares some of her favorite pins from her Pattern Play Pinterest Board. I jumped right onto Pinterest to follow her great inspiration board after seeing her faves, and I bet you will to!
At Nalle's House I love the way Anu's Scandinavian aesthetic marries bright bold color with simplicity of design. Check out her blog for easy directions to make this simple fabric basket and for fabulous photos of her adorable children and house. I think you'll be hooked!
And talk about simplicity of design! Check out these simple rain gutter bookshelves made by Selene over at Restoration Beauty. Are these not perfect for a child's (or grandchild's) room?
If you love papercrafts as much as I do, you'll love these paper bows from Jess at Spool and Spoon. Jess shares a template with us for making these cute bows.
I'm hoping to make one of these cool garden hose wreaths for my shed door this summer. Jill came up with this cute wreath idea at Create Craft Love and shows us how to make one.
Last Friday I shared HGTV's garden perrenials that love the sun, and this week I'm sharing perrenials that love the shade. HGTV has many more lists and photographs of perrenials that grow well in various conditions.
I wonder if I'm the only one who has never tried Pineapple Upside Down Cake. It looks delicious! Now I have Laura's recipe for "The Best Pineapple Upside Down Cake You Will Ever Eat" over at Top This Top That, and it only uses five ingredients. Time for me to try it!
Happy Friday!
What great finds Laurel! Love those gutter shelves and that fun hose wreath. And I love pineapple upside down cake - I need to check out that recipe!
ReplyDeleteGreat links, I shall make a visit to each of them. Pineapple upside down cake is my husband's favorite. Sadly for some reason I never make it. I will give this recipe more attention. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVery cool finds! I love the hose wreath. I've only had pineapple upside down cake this year. It was a recipe using muffin tins though. Found on Pinterest of course, and it was delicious! Have a wonderful weekend. ~ Jamie
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks for the shout-out and your kind words about my blog! Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Laurel - I'm loving that seed catalogue art in the laundry room and bleeding heart is one of my all time fav's. We split our 50 year old plant last spring - I can't wait to see it coming up in four places this spring instead of one!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour Friday Finds never disappoint! There are some very creative ideas here!
ReplyDeleteThat garden hose wreath is just too CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
