Friday Finds

I had the most wonderful busy week working in my studio. I have five projects all going at once and soon to be completed.

My craft room is a very happy disaster!

Today on Friday Finds I'm sharing some beautiful summer flowers from some of my favorite blogs. These blogs regularly feature gorgeous flowers and creative ways to arrange them. Just visit the links beneath each photo to see lots more inspiration!

My own lavender is too new this year to bloom, but I'm dreaming about having flowers like this from my own garden one day. Until then, I've been inspired by all these beautiful photos to pick up a bunch of some fresh summer flowers at the Farmer's Market tomorrow morning and hunt around my house for some creative ways to display them.

Fun!

Thanks so much for coming by today.  Whatever you're up to this weekend, I hope it's wonderful!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

  2. All so pretty! First thing in the morning, I'm heading out to pick some of my limelight hydrangeas to put all around the house for our picnic! We've been getting quite a few thunderstorms with heavy downpour in the afternoons and so many flowers are getting flattened, but that makes me feel better about cutting them. ... Love all the busyness in your craft room! ... Happy weekend!

  3. All of the flowers are so beautiful. I have some purple flowers in my bedroom right now. I have no idea the name, but they make me smile.

  5. Hi Laurel! I haven't been able to visit you (or anyone else, for that matter) as much as I'd like this summer. I've been missing your blog, for sure! Thanks for featuring my little flowers. I have those numbered egg cups like Rooted in Thyme and never thought to put blooms in them. So cute!! I may have to steal that idea. Lovin' that lavender, too. I planted French Lavender this year but it's not doing much of anything and I'm hugely disappointed. Oh well, I'll get over it. :)
