The North End of Boise is front porch heaven,
and my husband and I are front porch-sitters.
and my husband and I are front porch-sitters.
We often sit here on our front porch after work, sipping a glass of wine or beer and enjoying the mild Idaho evenings from spring through fall.
We chat with our neighbors and people strolling by with their dogs, as the sun sets beyond the trees.

It's one of the very best parts of living in The North End.

ReplyDeleteWhat a relaxing and beautiful spot! You must get such joy from sitting there and having nothing but pretty things to look at. All of your projects are awesome and came together in such a lovely and cozy way. I would enjoy it all sipping homemade sweet tea myself, yummo!:)~ Jamie
ReplyDeleteWhat a warm and friendly front porch... even with the guard dog on duty! Thanks much for the speedy links to your tutorials and for your sweet comments on our fairy garden! :)
ReplyDeleteI have porch envy. Looks so inviting, Love the pedestal birdhouse it looks adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love your front porch so much!!! I grew up with one, and though it was pretty far from the road (in the country), we loved the shady coolness, the porch swing, and watching our friends drive by on their way to or from town. Sounds like you really enjoy your time there in the evenings, seeing your friends and relaxing. Thanks for sharing it, I found your link at Between Naps on the Porch. Hugs ~ Mary

ReplyDeleteLovely and inviting. . .
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour and the invitation to sit and enjoy. I love this style of house with a porch you can sit and enjoy. We don't have this style of home where I live, but it does remind me of my childhood when we'd go back to MI for visits and the homes had wonderful porches like that. They have always intrigued me. Thanks for sharing it with us.
