I love looking at beautiful homes full of ideas I might be able to use when decorating my own home. In the old days I had stacks and stacks of magazines with dog eared corners. I still get my old favorites, Country Living and Better Homes and Gardens, in the mail. There's just something about turning those pages that can't be beat. But now I also have Pinterest, Houzz, and all of my favorite blogs for decorating inspiration.
This week I'm sharing just a few of my favorite living and family rooms from blogs I follow. These are real lived-in homes full of beautiful ideas I would love to see in my own home.
The photos here are just introductions to some fabulous rooms. Click on the links below them to see all the gorgeous details.

Perhaps you'll be inspired to try out a project for your own room this weekend!
Thanks so much for visiting today.

All of these rooms are so pretty! I would love to live in any of them!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so inviting! It's amazing how much talent there is out there. I still have many of my magazines piled up in the basement. I just can't get rid of them but I noticed I don't buy as many as I used to!

Oh Laurel, you are too kind! What a sweet surprise and an honor to be included in your roundup of beautiful rooms. What a nice way to start the day - thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and I agree... there is something good about paging through a new magazine. Or an old favourite. Have a great weekend Laurel! :)
ReplyDeleteNice finds - I'm going to need to spend a little time browsing through these.
ReplyDeleteooooh City Farmhouse is my fave of the ones you picked! Lovely rooms, all of them. I adore those same magazines & I was just saying to someone how Pinterest & Houzz feed my addiction without the paper clutter. So much nicer!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend xox
Thanks for featuring my living room, Laurel. What a nice surprise!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of gorgeous rooms. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Laurel, I agree - I like 'real', 'lived-in' spaces better than something styled just for the photo. Sometimes you can see a beautiful photograph then realize the furniture has been placed to all sit in the shot, but there's no room to walk around. I especially love 'city farmhouse'. I can really imagine me and my family settling in front of the fire! Thanks for sharing your favourites! Jennifer. x
