Top of the mornin' to ye!
Yesterday afternoon I spent a couple of hours watching House Hunters International (wishing I was on a tropical island) while I wrote out my favorite Irish blessing on my big chalkboard.
I cut shamrocks out of scrapbook paper and strung them on ribbon for a bit of Irish bling.
Though my hand is a bit tired today, I think it's my favorite chalkboard so far.
I made a Saint Patrick's Day bouquet for my Irish Waterford Chrystal vase from a few craft store shamrocks and hats.
The Irish flag is from the Festival of Nations in Red Lodge, Montana. The man selling them asked me why I was buying both Irish and Norwegian flags that day. When I told him I was both Irish and Norwegian, he turned to my husband and said, "I'm so sorry!"
When I asked him to explain himself, he said that I must surely have a quick and fierce temper with my heritage of both Irish and Viking warriors.
He was right!
But mostly I'm very sweet.
Thank you for visiting today!

It's nice and neat. The lettering looks great and I like the simple garland.
