Friday Finds

Yup, it's Friday again!

I've been enamored of pale mint green lately, so I fell in love with this little cupboard that Jenn at My Fabuless Life  painted with Martha Stewart's Sea Glass paint. Jenn has a terrific tutorial with lots of great tips for how to make this recycled kitchen cupboard with a pallet wood top.

This hutch has two of my current favorites; green paint and chicken wire doors. Karen at Restyled Vintage is responsible for this little vintage cutie.

I've been hesitating to cover my newly painted front door with its old boring screen, but summer weather is beckoning. When I saw Heather's at Love and Life at Leadora, I had an aha moment. Why not spruce up my screen door, too, with some cute flags and trim? Don't you love the etched glass on Heather's door?

Brian and Meloney of The Seed Box Antiques shared this beautiful porch table. I love the simplicity of the clear bottles filled with dogwood stems; an inexpensive and charming country centerpiece.

Becky at Beyond the Picket Fence is a pallet wood queen. She made this incredible bench and wrote an amazing tutorial. I love the way she painted, then stained the wood.

Patricia at Organized Chaos is the real deal, a true collector of antiques, and her kitchen is filled with authentic vintage collections. My favorite is her Mr. and Mrs. Poppin' Fresh. I love the way Patricia used this old rake top to hold her wine glasses.

Another great use of an old rake is this bright red one from My Cozy Cassita holding seed packets above a potting bench.

Linda at It All Started with Paint created these adorable coasters. Her papers are so colorful and cheerful, but my favorite part is the word she stamped on each coaster.

Melissa at Daisy Mae Belle transformed her growing-up children's (Daisy, Anna Belle, and Lila Mae) old play area into this amazing fire pit with pea gravel she lugged in herself and Adirondack chairs her dad made.

Gail at My Repurposed Life remade this chandelier from one that burns electricity to one that holds candles. Gail has included a detailed tutorial for the conversion, and I've been scheming how I can hang one over my deck table.

Debbie from Confessions of a Plate Addict made this cute  Rustic Flower Pot Man. At the risk of running out of winter storage for all my garden decor, I must have one of these!

  11. Laurel - I just found your blog and just love it! I have been wanting to paint an old chest of drawers, that is currently gold (kind of) - to a turquoise color. I think I'll look into the Martha Stewart's Sea Glass paint - the color is perfect! Thanks so sharing. BeBetsy.com
